The introduction of industries from Shenzhen, particularly those that complement Zhongshan's existing industrial base, is expected to bolster the city's economic prospects.
Sun Rong, Head of the Public Transport Management Section at the Zhongshan Transport Bureau, reported that 27 cross-city buses have been dispatched. The aim is to promote economic and cultural exchanges and enhance people-to-people interactions between Zhongshan and Shenzhen. The service is anticipated to cater to future commuters and tourists, fostering a new lifestyle where residents can live in Zhongshan and work in Shenzhen, or vice versa.
