Elliot Miller from the United States is shaping his vision for education in Yantai, a coastal city in East China's Shandong province.
Miller currently serves as the head of Yantai Huasheng International School. When discussing the school's educational philosophy, he emphasized that it is focused on cultivating lifelong learners, cultivating individuals that are going to learn how to lead in the future.
Miller has been living and working in Yantai for three years and is drawn to the local hospitable culture and pleasant environment, which influenced his choice of Yantai.
He said that the Yantai government provided strong support during the establishment of the international school, making the process significantly easier for him.
